The John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank was created approximately ten years ago and was put in place to support young people in the age group 13 to 21 years old as they started their enterprising journeys. It has supported over 350 young people providing grants rather than loans, with each applicant also having the support of a business mentor, access to free use of hot desks, meeting rooms or office space. This has resulted in a survival rate of 74% at the end of their 3rd year of trading.
