The 2016 Enterprising Britain Award Winners

The four projects that have won this year's Enterprising Britain Awards 2016 for outstanding  innovation and ambition received their awards yesterday ( Tuesday 15 November) from Margot James MP, Minister for Small Business at an awards presentation in The Palace of Westminster, House of Commons.

The Borough of Broxbourne, LJMU Enterprise Educators Academe, Birmingham City Council and Kent International Business were the winners for their success in helping to create the business environment and supporting the skills and confidence needed for small businesses to start and grow. 

Birmingham City Council were also awarded overall winner and won 'The Most Enterprising Place' award.

The Enterprising Britain Awards are part of the Government's drive to increase entrepreneurial activity in the UK.

The 2017 Enterprising Britain Awards will open for entries in the spring of 2017 so please look out for further details and be ready to submit your entry.
