Thu 16 March 2017
As of today, 16th March 2017, the Enterprising Britain Awards 2017 is open for entries and the overall winner will be awarded the prestigious title of the 'Most Enterprising Place in Britain'.
Alongside choosing this winner, the Enterprising Britain Awards (EBA) will also select the two UK entries into the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA), a competition where the UK has had longstanding success. Full details on the EEPAs can be accessed here.
The format for the 2017 Enterprising Britain Awards remains very similar to previous years, with entry into the 4 categories being from public sector organisations, or public/private partnerships.
The 4 categories for the Enterprising Britain Awards 2017 are:
- Promoting entrepreneurial spirit
- Building enterprise skills
- Improving the business environment
- Support for exporting
For the 2017 Enterprising Britain Awards there will be an additional focus on projects that can show impact on business growth and development. There is no specific category covering these activities, but projects entering for any of the 4 categories are being asked to indicate how their work has impacted in these areas.
Full details on the Enterprising Britain Awards 2017 can be found here where you can also register for this year's competition and access your online application.
We welcome applications from all parts of the UK. Traditionally we have received an excellent standard of entries which has made the judging of the 4 category winners a difficult task and we hope to receive equally high calibre entries this year.
We look forward to receiving your entry and please feel free to circulate this email to any other organisation that you feel may wish to enter. If you have any questions about this year's competition please contact us on: firstname.lastname@example.org
